One of today's goals was to draw chameleons and explore new visual design opportunities
I was particularly interested by the striking colors characteristic of these reptiles and how this could translate into playful designs that look great on a shirt, on a sticker or on various other printed products.
Created in iIllustrator, the design presented here brings a first interpretation of the familiar animal standing still on a branch.
While the position and proportions are fairly accurate, I did not aim for realism when it comes to the animal's skin. My vision was instead of a stylized character that would be immediately recognizable and yet stand out as an abstraction of an idea.
A bold and optimistic color palette make the character pop even more.
