This week has been one of different creative endeavors. In particular I have started designing new characters hoping that some could be part of a bigger project.
With a clear focus on line art and coloring techniques in Photoshop the exercise has also been an opportunity to learn, strengthen my workflow and develop my drawing and coloring technique.
I see potential in the cute and friendly rat shown here. Treated in a cartoonish style, it bears a resemblance with famous counterparts such as Pixar's Ratatouille and the clever little mouse in the Gruffalo.
This new character is now showing his smile on various clothing items, wall art and other accessories on my different merchandise stores.
