Recently travelling to Paris, I finally had a chance to visit the Louis Vuitton Foundation. Opened a year ago, Frank Gehry’s latest architectural masterpiece rises on the southern edge of the Jardin d’Acclimatation, monumental and triumphant, offering many opportunities for photographers.
Those opportunities extend when you are inside the building. In particular, the multilevel roof terraces provide mesmerizing views of Paris, carefully framed by the architect.
For this first, brief encounter, I was lucky enough to enjoy excellent weather and a flamboyant autumn season and haven’t passed on this opportunity to grab my camera. I cannot wait to be back and explore the possibilities further.
